Confirmation letter
1. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.
I met Brian, Ngoc Vu Duc Huynh on Tuesday 26th February 2019. I work for The University of
Adelaide College with first year International students undertaking the pathway program Degree
Transfer and Pre-Master’s Program. I teach Academic English and Language for Study. In addition, I
was tasked with organising a number of Intercultural Skills Workshops, bringing in some Australian
Volunteers to talk with the new International Students about adapting to Australian Univers ity life in
Adelaide.
Brian, Ngoc Vu Duc Huynh came to 1 one-hour workshops, totalling 1 hour of volunteer service.
Brian related well with the International students and showed a great insight into the value of getting
out of your comfort zone and meeting and mixing with people of other cultures.
It was a relief to see the students so engaged and asking questions. This certainly made my job that
much easier and exactly what I had hoped for.
I would love to have Brian volunteer with the Intercultural Skills Workshops again at the start of next
semester. He is a polite, well-spoken and reliable person to have on any team.
I wish Brian, Ngoc Vu Duc Huynh all the very best for the future and I am sure he will be successful.
Kind Regards,
Brigitta Colman
