1. Community Involvement
Helping others is a principle at the heart of our company and part of what we do every day. The
help we give is not just focused on clients and customers – we get involved with charity projects,
events and support local causes.
We have a dedicated Philanthropy Committee which works very hard to help make this happen.
Over the last year, our philanthropic programme raised more funds and supported more charities
than ever before with substantial numbers of employees taking part in community activities or
charity events raising thousands of pounds. Causes supported Acenden Mortgages included a
number of high profile national charities.
We also work closely with a local school, which is based near the High Wycombe office. Over
the last year we supported events at the school such as enterprise days, workshops and other
challenging activities.

Every team member receives regular training on process change and collections practice,
including money laundering, complaints handling and FSA compliance to ensure that we provide
a fair and compliant service to our customers and clients.
