This document describes an experiment to characterize active band-pass and band-stop filters. The objectives are to measure the gain-frequency response, determine key parameters like center frequency, bandwidth and quality factor, and compare measured values to theoretical calculations. For the band-pass filter, the student measures a center frequency of 1.572 kHz, bandwidth of 0.331 kHz, and gain of 49.58, which closely match the theoretical calculations. For the band-stop filter, similar measurements and comparisons are made to characterize the filter's performance.
