Editor's Notes
Good morning everyone. My name is Sean Finn and I am a part of the Satellite Center taking Digital Media in the afternoon. Today I am here to present my design ideas for the Council on Aging redesign. I hope you enjoy.
I would like to start off the presentation with a story. A story about my inspiration in life, my grandfather. One thing I always loved was when he would tell me his military stories about the places he went. His stories fascinated me. It was during those moments when I would think the military would be my career of choice.
I shared this story with you all today because I believe that the older generations have a large influence on the younger generations. So I felt that this was a great way for me to “give back” as some people say. And with that said, lets move on to what is currently seen and distributed.
First, we see, or can try to at least, the Council on Aging on what appears to be a transit bus. This design is hard to see. However, the design is informative and represents the Council on Aging, which is the goal of a logo design.
This design really does not have anything wrong with it visually. But the tree does not look anything like an oak tree. Also there are lines on the tree that should not be there.
