This clothing recycling fundraiser will take place at an unspecified time and location to benefit YOUR ORGANIZATION. Donations of clothing, linens, shoes, and handbags will be collected and weighed, with YOUR ORGANIZATION being paid per pound to support its cause and the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters. Hartsprings Foundation is partnering with area organizations to divert textile waste from landfills through clothing donation drives.

Detroit Lions Promote Recycling During Season-Long Campaign 
The Detroit Lions have partnered with REPREVE since the beginning of the 2014-15 season to increase recycling at Ford Field. They launched the effort by placing 500 new recycling bins around the stadium and encouraging fans to "Make the Smart Throw" by recycling trash. So far the season-long campaign has resulted in nearly 60,000 plastic bottles being recycled that otherwise would have ended up in landfills. At a #TurnItGreen game, the Lions celebrated by handing out towels made of recycled bottles and showcasing other recycled products.
