FREE KIDS RACES
The Old Capitol Criterium is proud to continue the tradition
of offering FREE Kids Races for children ages 9 and under.
Two-wheeled competitors will race for one lap around the
upper portion of the criterium course, while younger riders
will race one block along Washington Street.

Registration opens on-site at 8:00 am for all races.
Road Race and Time Trial registration is located
in Fairview Mennonite Church Basement, 7 miles
southwest of Iowa City. Criterium registration is
located at the MidWestOne bank on Clinton St in
Iowa City. Registration closes 20 minutes before each
race, Time Trial registration closes at 12:00 pm. Day of
registration is a $5 extra charge per race.

Start/Finish is at the Fairview Mennonite
Church 7 miles southwest of Iowa City
and north of Kalona. Course is a 13-mile
loop with roling hills and 4 right turns.
Course is open to traffic and centerline
rule will be strictly enforced. All USAC
Road racing rules apply.
COURSE INSTRUCTIONS
OLD CAPITOL CRITERIUM
Start/Finish is at the intersection of Clinton
& Jefferson Streets in downtown Iowa
City, Iowa. Course is a challenging
1-kilometer loop with one major climb
and a fast descent. Free lap rule applies.
All USAC Road racing rules apply.
NCCCC RACES
The North Central Collegiate Cycling
Conference (NCCCC) will participate in
the road race and criterium categories
as noted on the schedule. All riders will be
scored in the listed event and NCCCC
results will be posted on the website:
www.nc-cycling.com. The team time trial
will start 5-10 minutes after the last ITT rider
is off.
JR DEVO RACES
The Chris Lillig Memorial Cup is proud to
be a part of the USA Cycling Road
Development Race Series. All juniors will
start together as noted in the race
schedule. Results will be separated for
Male/Female categories 9-10, 11-12, 13-
14, 15-16, and 17-18.
