                                                    Said “Goodbye” to September and
                                                     “Hello” to October.

                                                    Had a science experiment where we
 10/19 - Early Release @ 1:15                        identified the parts of a fish (mouth,
                                                     eye, tail, fin, gills).

                                                    Participated in Read for the Record
                                                     where schools across the nation read
10/24 – School Pictures                              the same book on the same day to
                                                     break a world record!

                                                    Met our new morning high school helper,
                                                     Miss Sandra. 
 10/30-Pumpkin Patch Field Trip
                                                    Made an art project on our favorite book
                                                     (between The Very Hungry Caterpillar,
                                                     The Kissing Hand and Chicka Chicka Boom
Upcoming Snacks:                                     Boom)
Monday-Saul
Tuesday-Jenna                                       Did a great job on Daily 5 centers where
                                                     we read to ourselves and a partner,
Wednesday-Lucas                                      build words using magnets, listened to
Thursday-Ethan                                       stories on tape/the computer and we
Friday-Lucas                                         wrote stories.




 Notes from the Teacher:
>Please always return your homework on Fridays (or sooner if finished before). 

>Please bring in cans. We are in 1st place only by 30 cans. Send them in with your son or
daughter to school or bring them in on can Saturdays!
