The document provides software requirements for an email marketing tool. It specifies requirements for managing customer segments in 3 sentences or less:
The user can create, view, edit, delete, and merge customer segments. Segments are formed based on contact list membership and filtering criteria. Edits to segments will automatically update the contacts included.
The document describes a project report for developing a Company Master Web Portal. The portal aims to provide an integrated solution for managing different units, sections, departments, projects and branches of a company through a single, centralized web portal. It discusses the objectives, data flow diagrams, entity relationship diagram, modules, hardware and software requirements, advantages and future scope of the portal project. The portal allows managers to track employee time spent on projects, process leave requests, and manage other employee and customer records and relationships.
The document summarizes key elements of Vector Markup Language (VML). It includes:
1. A 4-member group report on VML with their names, class, faculty, and center.
2. An overview of various VML elements including shape, fill, shapetype, and background elements. Descriptions of each element and their attributes are provided.
3. Disadvantages of VML are listed, with no further details provided.
The document provides information on the main elements of VML including shape, fill, shapetype, and background elements. It summarizes attributes of each element and provides examples of how to define and use shapetypes.
The document discusses the PE/COFF file format used in Windows. It explains that PE/COFF is based on the older COFF format, with a PE header added. It describes the different sections contained in a PE/COFF file like .text, .data, .rdata, and debug sections. It also explains the image headers, section tables, and symbol tables contained in the COFF and PE parts of the file format.
VML is a vector graphics markup language that can be embedded in web pages. It uses XML elements and attributes to describe the outlines, fills, positions and other properties of vector shapes like rectangles, ovals, circles, etc. VML graphics are rendered faster than bitmap images like JPEG and take up less bandwidth. VML is supported in Microsoft Office 2000 applications and Internet Explorer 5, with graphics from those programs converted to VML when saved as HTML. The document then provides an example of using VML elements <vml:oval> and <vml:polyline> to draw a red circle and blue star in an HTML page.

DNA fingerprinting is a technique used to identify individuals by analyzing their DNA sequences. It focuses on analyzing 0.1-1.0% of human DNA that is unique between individuals, which resides in hypervariable sequences like VNTRs, STRs, and SNPs. DNA fingerprinting was first described in 1985 and can be used for various applications like identifying criminals, determining paternity, and identifying human remains. It involves obtaining a DNA sample, amplifying certain regions of DNA via PCR or Southern blotting, and comparing the results to DNA databases to determine if a match exists.
B.Tech Biotechnology II Elements of Biotechnology Unit 2 Structure of DNARai University
James Watson and Francis Crick discovered the double helical structure of DNA in 1953. DNA is made up of nucleotides containing nitrogenous bases (adenine, guanine, cytosine, thymine) linked by phosphodiester bonds to form a double helix. The bases pair up through hydrogen bonding between adenine and thymine and between guanine and cytosine. DNA can exist in various structural forms including circular, supercoiled and linear configurations.
