This document provides instructions for creating locations, frames (DP, Pillar, MDF), and adding CT blocks in Clarity Inventory Management. It describes logging in and navigating to the appropriate sections to enter mandatory details for locations. It also explains how to select existing locations for frames, populate service types, and add new CT blocks with position and pin template details.

Creating Frames (DP/ Pillar/ MDF)
Login with your User ID (Outdoor/MDF)
Make sure that the location for the DP, Pillar or MDF is created using the above
procedure.
Home Page > Go to Inventory > Components > Frames > In the “Exch Area” field,
click on the LOV and search for the location that has been created for this
component. > Select the Location and click on OK > Choose the appropriate
component type from the drop down in “Type” field > Click on the Index field and
it would be auto populated > Select Status as “Active” from list > Select
Container as “Frame” from drop-down list > Save > Description field gets auto
populated > Double click on the service type template field, Frame Container
service type template screen opens > Select “ALL SERVICE TYPES” in the
template field under Service Templates Tab > Enter priority as 1 > Save and close.
Adding CT Blocks for (DP/ PILLAR/MDF)
Login with your User ID (Outdoor/MDF)
Home Page > Go to Inventory > Components > Frames > Click on the “Exch Area”
field and click on search option> Click on “Exch Area” field and click on the LOV
button> Either enter the required frame location or give %<EXCHG>% and search
for existing exchange locations. Select the appropriate frame (DP, Pillar, MDF) >
Click on OK and Click on search button > The required frame container would
record would be retrieved > Click on Name field in Frame units section > Click on
Insert Button > Enter New CT Block Name in the Name field <Ex: A1, B1> > Enter
the Position as IN or OUT > Select appropriate pin Template from LOV in
Production Name field
