Troentorp clogs originated in 1907 in Båstad, Sweden, founded by August Johansson who learned his craft from a local cobbler. The factory has been passed down to his sons, Borje and Stig, in 1942, continuing the production of various colored clogs. The shop operates Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 6 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, closed between December 21 and January 7.

2. About Us
 Clogs were first made in Troentorp just outside
Bastad in the south of Sweden over a hundred
years ago in 1907.
 The small Swedish clog factory was started by
August Johansson who had spent the previous 8
years learning his trade from a local cobbler in
the Bastad area. Over the years the production
process developed and in 1942 August sons,
Borje and Stig, took over the clog factory.
