Childhood obesity is my proposed research topic. The proposed study questions for the topic are as follows: For children with obesity, how can regular physical workouts versus no regular physical exercises prevent the development of obesity-related health disorders and improve quality of life within a year? How do good meals minimize the chance of acquiring obesity and its related health issues in children aged 5 to 18 years? The research topic's data collection strategy includes the utilization of secondary sources of information. I shall, in particular, use the internet as my primary source of knowledge on the chosen topic. Because the internet contains a wealth of information, both current and historical, it will be a credible source of information (Andersson, 2018). In addition, I want to read a variety of books in order to learn more about my topic. For data collection, I will also rely on government sources such as the websites of government public health agencies such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Despite the fact that the internet is a reliable source of information, I anticipate a number of potential challenges in the data collection process. Incredible information is one of these issues. Notably, the internet is awash with information, but some of it questionable (Varga, 2020). Another difficulty is that it may take me a long time to verify facts from internet sources. To assure the credibility of the material gathered, I shall seek information from trusted sources. I will specifically rely on data from reputable sources such as the CDC and WHO. I will also get material from peer-reviewed articles and journals. To overcome the time constraint, I will devote significant time to data collecting and analysis. References Andersson, G. (2018). I plan on collecting my data using an internet-based survey that is posted on social media and other websites that are used by my desired participant. This type of research collection is called self-selected surveys and the participants if interested, merely click the link to participate in the survey (Tappen, 2015). Although the most effective method to obtain a variety of participants for my proposed research, unfortunately there can be many concerns with internet-based research. One being quality and concerns of selection bias due to only being offered on the internet where the person must be literate in English and have internet access to complete the survey. However, since I have a target population of nurses in the United States, I can mitigate several these concerns, RN’s must be literate in English to pass the licensing exam and mos ...
