This child protection policy outlines New Foundations H.E.'s commitment to safeguarding children and young people. It recognizes that the welfare of the child is paramount and that all children have a right to equal protection from harm. The purpose is to provide protection for children receiving services and guidance for staff on procedures to follow if a child is at risk of harm. The policy applies to all staff and volunteers. New Foundations H.E. will seek to safeguard children by valuing them, adopting child protection guidelines, recruiting staff safely, sharing information, and providing effective management through supervision and training.

Safeguarding Children: The Children Protection Policy at SchoolsA
Kids are amazing, aren’t they? Their happiness, anger, or even the bullying gives us a message, a warning. In this short piece, we’ll try to navigate some of the key principles of safeguarding children. The aim of this article is to introduce you to the children protection policy at schools in the UK.
Let’s start with the definitions first, and we can take a tour into the policy statements and sensitive issues later on.
Little Acorns Fostering will fully support and value our foster carers recognising they are the cornerstone of the service we will provide. Working in partnership with our carers and the child's placing social worker we will work to ensure any child placed is able to thrive and achieve their true potential.

Date: 9th to 13th July 2017
An interactive dialogue on this topic will be of significance to form, educate, increase awareness on the challenges and entitlements of youth towards non-violence, peaceful and secure environment that assures and supports their development fully at the different levels of society that they represent. Therefore, with the above anticipated theme, all participants present, such as: the young people, youth leaders, representatives from public and private sector, media persona, law enforcers and members of various NGOs and CSOs, will gather to call for action and structure experiences on the issue of Juvenile Delinquency and Youth Development. The outcome document will also enhance youth contribution towards the attainment of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs
OBJECTIVES
During the dialogue all participants will gather to address and call for action on the following objectives:
* To promote awareness and analyse problems and inventories of programmes, services, facilities and resources available towards juvenile violence and delinquent behaviours;
* To identify the roles and contribution of different sectors such as: public sector, private sector, NGOs, and others, in solving Juvenile Deliquency and supporting constructive youth development as well as youth leadership;
*To gather and select good practices, challenges, experiences, and lessons learned from the national youth councils towards improving or amending the current policies in order to solve Juvenile Delinquency;
* To distinguish well-defined responsibilities for the qualified agencies, institutions and personnel involved in preventive efforts;
* To form and advance the national, regional and international policies governing the Juvenile Justice;
* To foster networking, collaboration and partnership among youth and all stakeholders in order to address the issue of Juvenile Delinquency;
* To advance the role of youth and actively involve them in the social development and attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Right help - Right Time, Safeguarding guidance from Birmingham CouncilThe Pathway Group
On the 14th February 2020, the Birmingham Safeguarding Children Partnership published the refreshed threshold guidance “Right Help, Right Time” – Delivering effective support for children and families in Birmingham. (Version 4 - February 2020).
This is by far the final project I am most proud of. This is an example of one of the kinds of programs I hope to introduce to an organization in the future. It was also a final for one of my human service classes

recognises its responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children
and young people, by a commitment to practice which protects them.

carers and there agencies is essential in promoting young people’s

This policy applies to all staff, including the board of trustees,
volunteers and sessional workers, students or anyone
working on behalf of New Foundations H.E.
We will seek to safeguard children and young people by:
valuing them, listening to and respecting them
adopting child protection guidelines through procedures and a
code of conduct for staff and volunteers
recruiting staff and volunteers safely, ensuring all necessary
checks are made
sharing information about child protection and good practice with
children, parents, staff and volunteers
sharing information about concerns with agencies who need to
know, and involving parents and children appropriately

We are also committed to reviewing our policy and good practice
annually.
