The document discusses different ways of defining and measuring success and achievement. It summarizes Marianne Williamson's quote about our deepest fear being our own power rather than weakness. It then questions the traditional definition of a champion as someone who wins competitions, saying this sets us up for failure by comparing ourselves to others. Instead, it suggests striving for personal excellence and improvement by measuring our values against our potential, and finding true nobility in being better than our previous selves rather than others.

A True Champion!
“ Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant? Actually who are you not to be?” -Marianne Williamson
-depends how you define Champion Webster’s Dictionary defines a Champion as a “winner of first prize or place in a competition; one who shows marked superiority over others.”
If we measure SUCCESS in this manner we are setting ourselves up for failure, as we are trying to conform to worldly standards. This type of Success implies that we are measured against others. Millions aspire to this, very few can achieve it.
So perhaps we need to measure ourselves differently? What about striving for personal excellence or improvement? Where excellence measures our values against our potential. Ironically very few aspire to this, yet millions could achieve it.
Remember, there is nothing noble about being superior to someone else, the true nobility lies in being superior to your previous self.
