Start By:
a. Remove the motor.

1. Remove nut (1) and valve (2)
2. Remove O-ring seal (3), backup ring (4), O-ring seal (5), backup ring (6), O-ring seal (7),
and O-ring seal (8) from valve (2).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a
released spring force.
Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.
Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to
release the spring force.
3. Use a suitable press in order to remove retaining ring (9) and lock (10).
4. Remove housing (11).
5. Remove the O-ring seal from housing (11).

6. Remove springs (12).
7. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (13).
8. Remove piston (14).
9. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (15).

11. Remove spring (17).
12. Use a suitable press in order to remove pin (18).
13. Remove valve (19).
14. Remove the spring from valve (19).

15. Remove seals (20).
17. Remove seals (22).

18. Remove radial motor (23).
19. Use a suitable press, Tooling (B), Tooling (C), and Tooling (D) in order to remove retaining
ring (24).
20. Remove shim (25).
21. Use a suitable press and Tooling (C) in order to remove shaft (26).

22. Remove bearing cone (27).
23. Remove bearing cone (28) and seal (29).
24. Remove bearing cup (30) and lip seal (31).
25. Remove bearing cup (32).

Start By:
a. Remove the piston motor.
1. Remove bolts (1) and head (2).

2. Remove bearing (3) and seal (4).
3. Remove plug (5).

4. Remove O-ring seal (8) from plug (5).
5. Remove spring (7) and spool (6).
6. Repeat Step 4 for opposite side.
7. Remove plug (12), O-ring seal (13), spring (11) and washer (10).
8. Remove spool (9).

9. Repeat Step 7 for opposite side.
10. Do not remove nut (12A).
11. Remove plug (12B), O-ring seal (12C), O-ring seal (12D), retainer (12E), spring (12F), and
valve (12G).

12. Remove O-ring seals (14) and (15). Remove springs (16) and port plate (17).
13. Remove bearing race (18) and piston assembly (19).
14. Remove piston assembly (19A).

15. Remove pins (20).
16. Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to remove retaining ring (21) from barrel (19).

17. Remove washers (22) and spring (23) from barrel (19).
18. Apply low air to port hole (24) in order to remove piston assembly (25).
19. Remove O-ring seals (26) and (27) from piston assembly (25).

20. Remove collar (28), discs (29), and plates (30).
21. Remove O-ring seal (31) from collar (28).
22. Remove shaft (32) and swashplate (33).

24. Remove balls (35) and springs (36).
25. Use a suitable press in order to remove bearing (37).
26. Use Tooling (B) in order to remove retaining ring (38).
27. Remove plug (39) and the O-ring seal.

28. Use Tooling (C) and Tooling (D) in order to remove cover (40).
29. Remove O-ring seal (41) and carrier assembly (42).
30. Use Tooling (E) in order to remove retaining rings (43).
31. Remove gears (44) and gear (45).

32. Use Tooling (F) in order to remove retaining ring (46).
33. Remove gear (47).
34. Use Tooling (E) in order to remove the retaining rings (48).
35. Remove gears (49).

36. Drill the stakes from nut (50).
37. Install spindle (51) and housing (52) onto Tooling (G).
38. Install Tooling (H) into spindle (51).
Note: See Table 1 in order to determine the correct spanner wrench assembly.
39. Install Tooling (G) onto the bottom of Tooling (J).
40. Install remaining pieces of Tooling (J).
41. Remove nut (50).

42. Use Tooling (K) and a suitable press in order to remove spindle (51) from housing (52).
43. Remove Duo-Cone seals (53) and (54).
