Rickets is a bone disease caused by a lack of vitamin D or calcium in children. It results in soft, weak, and deformed bones. This case report describes a child presenting with bowed legs and wrist swelling, which are common symptoms of rickets. Diagnostic tests confirmed the child was deficient in vitamin D. The child was successfully treated with vitamin D and calcium supplements, resolving the symptoms. The case highlights the importance of adequate nutrition for healthy bone development in children.
