2. Early Life
Camille Saint- Saens was born on October
9,1835 in France. Unfortunately, his father died
just when Camille was a few months old. So, his
mother and aunt raised him. When he was a
toddler, Saint-Saens started learning how to play
the piano. When he was five years old, he had
his first piano recital. At the age of seven, he
already started composing his own music.
3. Education
Camille was interested in math, astronomy, and
archaeology, and he loved to write poetry.
When he came of age, Saint-Saens studied
music at Paris Conservatoire. He was a brilliant
student, and later he started composeing some
of his famous pieces.
