Adding to the Mystery
Mystery Island is a beautiful, inviting island. It is full of idyllic and cozy spots for any first date, romantic night, proposal spot, or even a to unite a couple as husband and wife in one of the wedding packages offered. Mystery positively breathes enchantment and love, but what is missing?
Well, Mystery is the perfect place for lovers, for couples, I think we can agree on that. However, what can Mystery offer you if you happen to be a searching single? A place to walk around and see where you would take someone if you weren't so alone? If you were single and desperately searching for love, sailing around solo on a romantic swan ride would only remind you of what you DONT have.
Gazing at the romantic scenery, listening to the tender music and knowing you are only one half of a pose ball embrace, is not a pleasant feeling. I have the solution, and it brings me to my proposition.
I proposal that Mystery Island create a: Matchmaking/Dating Single's Center
My ideal location for this center is presently the New Resident Welcome Center, but I think it is the perfect site for the Singles Center.
Matchmaking Panel System We would need only to line the walls with match making panels, the way these panels work is as follows: A Resident fills out a questionnaire with questions and choices that will portray their likes and dislikes, as well as what they are searching for in a mate. We can also leave a space for them to add anything they want. The resident then clicks on the panel and pays a fee (to be determined)
They then have permission to drag a photo of themselves and their completed questionnaire to the panel
Someone can then click on their panel and they will receive the questionnaire. If they like what they see and if they want to set up a trial date they have the option to click “Like”. Whoever rents the panel will get a message that they have been liked however the system does not reveal by whom. The only way a couple is matched is if they both click Like on each others panels. The system will say you have been matched! And then they will go into a trial process.
If after the trial process is over, they choose to discontinue the dating the panel will remain. If they choose to continue dating they are considered a successful match and their panels are removed.
It is an automated process, it is used successfully in many dating services and adoption services throughout SL. I've done my research, after visiting 16 dating agencies, I calculated the average traffic was 1041, in this figure I did not average the successful Sweethearts Jazz location, which alone yields traffic of 65, 348 because it inaccurately raised the median average.
