NAU Steel Bridge Team – Flagstaff, AZ Jan 2015 –
Present
• The steel bridge is currently my senior capstone project starting in August 2015
• Duties include designing, analyzing, fabricating, and constructing a 1:10 scale model of a steel bridge
• Competing in this year’s AISC Student Steel Bridge Competition in Long Beach, California in April 2016
• Collaborated with steel bridge team to design and build a beam bridge within the parameters of the competition
• Parameters are set forth by the American Institute of Steel Construction and include timed construction as well as
both vertical and lateral load testing
• Results of 2016 conference include: 24-minute construction time, 2.1in vertical deflection, 0in lateral deflection,

place in overall display, and placed in the top 5 in overall score
