ABOUT OUR INDUSTRY GROWTH
Internet advertising revenues
For the third quarter this year
set a new record, reaching
US$6.4 billion- "the highest
quarterly result ever for the
online ad industry," the
Interactive Advertising Bureau
and PricewaterhouseCoopers
U.S. announced today. The
Revenue estimates are 17
percent higher than they were
 in Q3 2009.

"Advertisers are shifting more of their brand messaging online, accounting for this
welcome surge in a difficult economy," David Silverman, a partner at PwC, said in a
statement. "This trend reflects the accelerating shift in consumer behavior towards
the internet and away from traditional media." The IAB Internet Advertising Revenue
Report is sponsored by the IAB, and is conducted independently by the New Media
  Group at PwC.
ABOUT OUR INDUSTRY GROWTH

Retail remains the largest online
Advertiser as retailers seek to attract
more customers as they increasingly
shop online. We believe most of these
budgets are allocated to search, and
retail could account for as much as
20% of total search spend. Consumer
Packaged Goods is one of the largest
overall advertising categories, but has
been somewhat slow to move budgets
online since larger individual buys with
significantly larger audiences are still
more easily made on traditional media
like TV. However, as more consumers spend their time online and larger buys become
increasingly available, CPG has started to move more of their budgets online, resulting
in 60%-plus growth during 2008.

ABOUT OUR INDUSTRYGROWTH Internet advertising revenues For the third quarter this year set a new record, reaching US$6.4 billion- "the highest quarterly result ever for the online ad industry," the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers U.S. announced today. The Revenue estimates are 17 percent higher than they were in Q3 2009. Posted by Leah McBride Mensching on November 17, 2010 at 4:20 PM "Advertisers are shifting more of their brand messaging online, accounting for this welcome surge in a difficult economy," David Silverman, a partner at PwC, said in a statement. "This trend reflects the accelerating shift in consumer behavior towards the internet and away from traditional media." The IAB Internet Advertising Revenue Report is sponsored by the IAB, and is conducted independently by the New Media Group at PwC.
  • 7.
ABOUT OUR INDUSTRYGROWTH Retail remains the largest online Advertiser as retailers seek to attract more customers as they increasingly shop online. We believe most of these budgets are allocated to search, and retail could account for as much as 20% of total search spend. Consumer Packaged Goods is one of the largest overall advertising categories, but has been somewhat slow to move budgets online since larger individual buys with significantly larger audiences are still more easily made on traditional media like TV. However, as more consumers spend their time online and larger buys become increasingly available, CPG has started to move more of their budgets online, resulting in 60%-plus growth during 2008.
  • 8.
ABOUT OUR INDUSTRYGROWTH Apparently, more online users in India are willing to make purchases through the Internet. Overall e-commerce industry is poised to experience a high growth in the next couple of years. The 70 percent year on year growth is expected to continue and India’s e-commerce market is forecast to reach a whopping $US 10 billion by the end of 2011.The e-commerce market in India was largely dominated by the online travel industry with 80% market share while electronic retail (E-Tailing) held second spot with 6.48% market share.
  • 9.
Amazing, e-commerce ishuge in India! A report by the Internet and Mobile Association of India has revealed that India. E-commerce market is growing at an average rate of 70 percent annually and has grown over 500 percent since 2007.The current estimate of US$ 6.79 billion for year 2010 is way ahead of the market size in the year 2007 at $1.75 billion. The following chart depicts the growth of E-commerce in India in the last couple of years:
