Description The bobcat is a mammal. It is over 3 feet. The bobcat is about the size of a retriever. It is brown and black with thin fur. It starts to grow thick fur in the winter. It’s special body part is it’s paw and teeth it uses it’s paw to catch it’s food.
Habitat My animal lives mostly in the canyons or in the trees or in mountains.  The bobcat lives in the nature or on the mountains.  It lives in the trees or in caves ,hollow logs or rocky ledges .
Living Habits When it sees anything it is on guard. The bobcat roams free at night. It likes to eat deer elk and rabbits. It will move quietly to hunt.
Birth and Growth Bobcats are born in the spring and take awhile for the eyes to open.  Foxes attack and kill baby bobcats. A baby bobcat ways about 10 pounds and gets up to twenty or thirty pounds. They live in little holes in the ground.
About a bobcat It runs up to 50 miles per hour.  Owls will attack kittens which is what baby bobcats are called. That is the life of a bobcat.
