Dr. Ravish Mathew received his Ph.D in Tourism Studies from Pondicherry Central University in 2009. He has since worked as an Assistant Professor and is currently a UGC Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Tourism Studies at Pondicherry Central University. Dr. Mathew has published 7 papers in ISSN journals and contributed to 7 ISBN proceedings. He has also presented research at over 25 national and international conferences and delivered dozens of invited lectures.

Joined Vimala Convent School, I.C.S.E Indian Certificate of Secondary
Education, Bhawanipatna, Orissa and completed 10th standard. Joined Higher
Secondary Education from Government College Bhawanipatan, Orissa. After
completing Higher Secondary, Joined for Bachelors in History from the same college.
Later on joined the prestigious Ravenshaw College, Affiliated to Utkal University,
Cuttack, Orissa for Masters in History and completed it successfully and stood fifth
according to merit. Joined Regional College of Management, Affiliated to Utkal
University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa for Masters in Tourism and obtained First Class.
Successfully completed six month training on International Tour Operation from
Orbit Tours and Trade Fairs Limited, Hyderabad. Joined the teaching profession
from 2006 and started as a Guest Lecturer at Micro College of Engineering and
Technology and Later on joined St Johns College Pathanamthitta as a Lecturer in
Travel and Tourism. In the year 2009 joined Pondicherry Central University,
Puducherry for Ph.D and obtained Doctorate in Tourism Studies. Successfully
completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Event Management P.G.D.E.M from
Pondicherry Central University, Puducherry with First Class. Worked as an Assistant
Professor on contract at Pazhassi Raja College Pulpally, Wayanad, Kerala. Awarded
with the prestigious Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnana Post Doctoral Fellowship for the
year 2014-2015 in Tourism Studies by University Grants Commission. New Delhi.
Currently working as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Department of Tourism Studies
Pondicherry Central University. Puducherry. Dr.Ravish Mathew has 7 ISSN
publications and 7 ISBN proceedings. Dr.Ravish Mathew has presented research
papers in more than 25 National and International conferences. Dr.Ravish has also
