Mohammad Rahmani is an Iranian attorney born in 1973 in Tehran. For over 20 years he has worked providing legal counsel on international commercial law, participating in investment projects, and representing around 900 cases in Iranian courts with a 90% success rate. In addition to practicing law, he has held several positions within Iranian bar associations and serves as the head of a law firm. He obtained his LLB from Islamic Azad University of Zanjan in 1996 and his LLM in Private Law in 1999, and is currently studying for an LLM in International Business Law.

1. “Biography”
Mohammad Rahmani is an Attorney at Law and a Member of Iranian Bar Association. He was
born in 1973 in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Since 1999, he has Presented legal opinions regarding
international commercial law; provided consultations regarding participation in tenders and
national and international macro investment; consulted governmental and private organizations
and companies regarding the Iranian law; attended in meetings and negotiation with contract
parties in order to settle and arbitrate disputes; Written all kinds of legal bills and appeals;
participated in various court sessions and defended rights and claims of clients.
Amazingly, with a rate of success in more than 90% of claims, he has the experience of
representing around 900 cases before judicial and administrative courts of Iran on behalf of
natural and legal entities with respect to real estate (ownership claims, natural resources, lands of
municipality, registration deeds), financial and non-financial claims, commercial deeds, labor
law disputes before labor administration and judiciary, arbitration and administration court of
justice.
Other than his legal practice as an attorney, he has been the legal consultant of Qazvin regional
Water Co. for four years, an arbitrator in the arbitration center of Iranian Chamber since 2008,
the head of informatics committee of Qazvin Bar Association until 2010, the representative of
Qazvin Bar Association in the informatics commission of the Union, a member of the
supervising committee of the second board of directors at Qazvin Bar Association in 2004, the
subsidiary member in trainee commission since 2004 to 2010, the draftsman of Ekhtebar Test in
2005, member of the committee and supervisor in 2005 Trainee test, the director of public affairs
and advertisement of national conference of Bar Associations 2005, member of scientific and
research commission of Qazvin Bar Association since 2008 to 2009, domestic manager of
Qazvin Bar Association since 2008 to 2009 and cooperated in holding the independence
celebration of Bar Association. He is also a member in AIJA and Association of Iran and
Germany Lawyers.
He is currently the head of Contributive Lawyers in Edalat Judicial Complex cooperating with
the Central Bar Association. He is also the head of Board of Directors and a partner at Bayan
Emrooz International Law Firm.
In addition to being a diligent practitioner, he has considerable academic experience. Influenced
by renowned legal scholars such as Dr. Katoozian and Eftekhar Jahromi, he acquired an LLB in
Judicial Law from Islamic Azad University of Zanjan in 1996 and an LLM in Private Law from
Central Branch of Tehran’s Islamic Azad University in 1999. He is currently studying
International Business Law in Electronic Branch of Islamic Azad University of Tehran and will
soon acquire an LLM in this field. He has also published a book on the Iranian Laws and
Regulations on Lands and an article on CMS terminal of I.R.I judicial force. Furthermore, He
has taught the LLB courses in Takestan Branch of Islamic Azad University and Payam-e-Noor
University of Boeenzahra.
