Thailand and Japan have agreed to cooperate on biofuel research and development. The National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) of Thailand will work with Japanese institutions to develop technologies to produce biofuels from cassava, sugarcane and palm oil. The collaboration aims to develop efficient and sustainable biofuel production that can reduce dependence on fossil fuels and benefit farmers.
