The BMW Sauber F1 Team tested their C29 car in wet conditions at the Jerez circuit in Spain. Pedro de la Rosa drove 58 laps and set the fastest lap time of 1 minute 20.736 seconds. While it rained on and off during the day, the team was able to complete a baseline run in the dry and work on balancing the car in wet conditions by scanning different setups. Pedro de la Rosa provided positive feedback about the car in the wet. Tomorrow will be the final day of testing at Jerez with Pedro de la Rosa continuing to drive.

today in southern Spain the BMW Sauber F1 Team took the chance to test the C29 in
the wet. Pedro de la Rosa was at the wheel and happy to drive the car under different
conditions.

straight into the programme. We managed to do a baseline
run in the dry and later focused on balancing the car in the
wet. We scanned different set-ups and worked on the brake
system. Pedro’s comments on the car were quite positive in
the wet. Nevertheless we certainly hope for better and dry
track conditions tomorrow.”
What comes next Tomorrow will be the fourth and final day of this week’s
Jerez test and Pedro de la Rosa will continue to drive.
