There are four distinct features of the BGInS
program that ensure BGInS students are
unique amongst peers. Firstly BGInS students
have a global focus. Secondly they have
language skills. Thirdly they have a strong
multidisciplinary foundation in global and
international studies. Finally the students
complete a mandatory international
experience in order to fulfill their
graduation requirements
Hiring a student is beneficial to both the employer and the student. It is an excellent (and
economical) way for employers to bring fresh talent on board and provide a student with the
opportunity to gain significant work experience as part of their studies. Carleton BGInS
students are skilled and motivated and are eager to put theory to practice. They are keen to
contribute to work place environments in return for an opportunity to contextualise theory.
