Preface
Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad laid down the
foundation of the world-wide Ahmadiyya Community in a
small village of Qadian in accordance with the prophecies
of Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) which now, by the Grace
of God has spread all over the world. People of all ages,
colour, race and language have entered in its fold and this
process continues unabated. In short pious souls of all the
continents of the world are embracing Ahmadiyyat, or true
Islam.
It occurred to my mind in this universal
back-ground that the book "Meanings of the difficult
words of the Holy Qur`an" written by Maulana Bashir
Ahmad Qamar, a scholar of Ahmadiyya community
should be translated into English, along with its Urdu
version, so that it may become intelligible and useful for
the people who are associated with English & Urdu
languages.
Subsequently, I translated the first para of the Holy
Quran into English and sent the same to Hazoor-a-Anwar
for receiving the blessings. Hazoor-a-Anwar very kindly
and graciously expressed his views in the following
auspicious words.
May God strengthen you to perform this work
in a better way. May God bring good fortune in your
achievements and bring about their successful results.
May God account you in His dears and you always
keep in view His paths of consent. May God make you
successor of every good and bless with felicities of
faith and world. Ameen!
These encouraging words of Hazoor-a-Anwar
created additional tumult in my heart. This blessed work
continued for some period. Finally this work reached its
completion with the prayers of Huzur Anwar.I also took
advantage of the English Quranic version of Maulawi
