The second grade classes will be having a Beach Party on May 20th to celebrate the end of the school year. Students will need to bring $1 and a drink to purchase a hot dog from the lunchroom. Parents are also asked to send in specific food items like cheese, veggies, chips, and cookies to share among all the classes. Students can dress casually in Hawaiian or summer-themed clothing for the celebration.

All second classrooms will be
celebrating the end of the school
year with a Beach Party on Wednesday, May 20.
We will enjoy eating
hot dogs, chips, veggies, cheese, and cookies.
Because all the classrooms
come together for this celebration, we are trying
to keep the menu the same for each room. The
lunchroom will be providing hot dogs at a charge
of $1, but the hot dogs can’t be charged to your
child’s lunch account. Therefore, each child will
need to bring a drink of their choice and $1 to
pay for a hot dog.
In addition, we are asking the following
students to bring enough of the marked items
for ___ students.
_______________________ Chunked or sliced hard
cheese

2. _______________________ Bite size veggies or fruit
(baby carrots, sliced apples, etc)
_______________________ 2 bags of potato chips
_______________________ 1 package of cookies
Please remember we will be
celebrating with other classes in the lunchroom,
so keep it simple. We don’t have silverware so
the foods should be finger food style. If you have
any questions, please call or visit your child’s
teacher.
Your child may also wear a Hawaiian or
summer shirt, shorts, sunglasses, etc. to
celebrate the beginning of summer!
