Base ten number system

 With 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 you can make any number you
 wish as you can see above.

 The base ten number system is probably based on our
 fingers because there are ten of them.

 People in the old day probably used the base ten number
 system it to count items such as live stock.
To get from the ones to the tens you multiply
10 then to get from the tens to the hundreds
you multiply ten again and so on.
            100x10              10x10          1x10
thousands            hundreds           tens          ones


  Well that’s the base ten number system.
