This letter provides a reference for Bao Nguyen from Carol LaFayette-Boyd of the Saskatchewan African Canadian Heritage Museum. It details that Bao was contracted in 2014 to redevelop the museum's website and volunteered to continue working on the project. Bao completed tasks in a timely manner and figured out how to manage the site without technical support. The letter recommends Bao for any position based on his computer skills and cooperative work in volunteering many hours to keep the museum's website updated.

Re: Bao Nguyen
This is a letter of reference for Bao Nguyen. The Saskatchewan African Canadian Heritage Museum (SACHM)
www.sachm.org is a non-profit charitable organization. Our mission is to research, find and highlight the contributions
and achievements of people of African descent in Saskatchewan; publicize, educate the public, celebrate and preserve
these contributions and achievements. Our website is one of the ways we accomplish our mission.
I have known Bao since May 2014 when he was contracted to redevelop the SACHM virtual museum. Bao was very
enthusiastic and eager to complete the project. However, as there was more to do than SACHM board anticipated, Bao
volunteered to continue with the project. The project is ongoing and Bao has provided the support to make our website
presentable and up to date. He completes tasks required in a very timely manner, always going beyond our expectations.
One of the difficulties encountered was that as the supervisor of the project, I could not give him any technical support.
Bao took the site and figured it out for himself and was able to provide a very presentable outcome. He patiently, many
times explained the process to me.
Bao often suggests changes and additions and seeks our approval. He is always waiting for material from SACHM to add
to the site. We did receive some funding in 2015 for him to continue the work of adding a new group, the Saskatchewan
Roughriders who “Played and Stayed”.
We are very pleased with his computer abilities and the cooperative manner in which Bao works. We are very
appreciative of the many hours he has volunteered to keep our website up to date. I, personally highly recommend Bao to
any position he is applying for. If you have any questions, I can be reached at (306) 545-8824.
Sincerely,
Carol LaFayette-Boyd, BSW, RSW
Acting Secretary, SACHM
