This document describes the design and simulation of a trapezoidal microstrip patch antenna for ultra-wideband applications from 3-10 GHz. The antenna has a trapezoidal patch connected to a microstrip feedline on an FR4 substrate. A slot is etched in the ground plane to increase the impedance bandwidth. Simulations show the antenna achieves over 107% fractional bandwidth with return loss over 10 dB and VSWR less than 2 across the band. Radiation patterns are omnidirectional in the H-plane and bidirectional in the E-plane. The antenna realizes an average gain of 4.569 dB and is presented as a candidate for UWB applications.
The document provides information about Matara 2015, a training program for European Jewish youth leaders that will take place December 25-31, 2015 during the Limmud UK Conference. Up to 20 participants will be sponsored to take part in sessions focusing on Jewish knowledge, contemporary issues, and informal education theory. The goals are to provide Jewish learning opportunities, networking, and skills to enhance Jewish programming back home. Participants must be between 20-27 years old and involved in Jewish youth/community work in Europe. The program covers accommodation, meals, and transportation, while also reimbursing up to €500 in travel costs. The application deadline is October 5.
This lesson plan is for a 7th grade enrichment class on public speaking and storytelling. The objectives are for students to understand what storytelling is, its importance, and proper techniques. The lesson will introduce storytelling and its purposes of developing imagination, widening horizons, providing enjoyment, and helping solve problems. Students will learn dos and don'ts of storytelling, such as making it interesting but not losing the message. For evaluation, students will be divided into groups to prepare and perform original stories applying what they learned.
This document summarizes the layout and design of 4 different magazine contents pages:
1. The first uses a bold masthead at the top right, a full-body image of a woman in the center, and small snippets of text with page numbers and subtitles.
2. The second has a small masthead in the top right corner, thumbnail images throughout, and bold subtitles against colored backgrounds to highlight sections.
3. The third contains no masthead but provides page references. It features a central image of Eminem in a dark suit with an angry expression. Text is in a basic white font with subheadings and page numbers.
4. The fourth has a dark red background with light colors

Li-Fi is a technology that uses light from LED bulbs to transmit data wirelessly. It works by switching the state of LED bulbs on and off very fast in order to transmit binary code, with on representing 1 and off representing 0. The switching is too fast for the human eye to detect, so the bulb appears to be on continuously. Li-Fi has several advantages over traditional Wi-Fi including increased bandwidth and security. It can be used in applications such as traffic lights, aircraft cabins, underwater environments, and areas restricted to radio frequencies. However, Li-Fi also faces limitations including inability to pass through opaque objects and interference from other light sources.
This document provides the order of service for the Mass of Christian Burial for Cardinal Edward Egan, Archbishop Emeritus of New York. The mass was held at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York City on March 10, 2015. Cardinal Dolan was the principal celebrant. Readings included passages from Job, Revelation, and John. Music was provided by the St. Patrick's Cathedral Choir and soloists Renée Fleming and Matthew Polenzani. The mass commemorated Cardinal Egan's life and service and prayed for his eternal rest.
This document lists 4 design projects: Myk by SHE Studio, Misty by POETIC LAB, Net Lamp by Ryosuke Fukusada, and Wonmin Park. It appears to be comparing poetic vs obvious design approaches across these 4 projects but provides no other context or descriptions.
Revitalization of SAP BI for better performance and User Acceptance_ASUG 2009Krishna Muppaneni, PMP
The document summarizes a presentation about revitalizing SAP BI for a large academic health care facility. It describes assessing the client's existing BI system and identifying pain points like slow query response times. The project involved remodeling data models, optimizing cubes, implementing aggregates, and designing optimized process chains. Landscape systems were synchronized and security was enhanced in BI 7.0. Testing validated improvements to data access, loading times, and reporting performance. The client benefited from increased user adoption of BI and confidence in responsive, secure reporting.
This document provides an overview of a survival crash course on South Korean language, culture, and business practices. The course aims to raise awareness of Korean culture and language to enable successful business relationships. It is divided into two sessions - the first covers general information, history, culture, and basic language. The second focuses on business etiquette, meetings, presentations, negotiations, and social norms. The course is developed and delivered by a Korean language tutor to explain typical behaviors and ways of thinking in Korea.
