CityArchRiver Foundation and National Blues Museum are teaming up again to bring a
free concert series to a newly renovated section of the Gateway Arch park grounds. A
four-week series that takes place Fridays in August in the North Gateway (the north
end of the park, near Laclede’s Landing). Featuring the music of Carolyn Mason, Mick-

Des Peres Summer Concert Series: Hot Summer Nights, Cool Summer
Sounds (Fri. Aug. 11, 7-9:30 pm) — Bring your blankets, lawn chairs and coolers
with your favorite snacks and beverages (alcohol is allowed; no glass) for this free
summer concert featuring the music of Mirage. Concessions will be available for purchase courtesy of Boy Scout
Troop 313. Limited parking is available inside the park and overflow parking is available at the Edward Jones
Building located across the street from the park (Ballas and Manchester).
Jungle Boogie Nights at the Saint Louis Zoo (Fri. Aug. 11, 5-8 pm) — Head to the St. Louis Zoo for an
open-air concert in the center of the Zoo. Refreshments for purchase at Lakeside Café and Tundra Treats. Music
by Zydeco Crawdaddies. Admission: Free. Go to www.stlzoo.org.
Sauce Food Truck Friday at Tower Grove Park (Fri. Aug. 11, 4-8 pm) — It’s the 6th annual Sauce Food
Truck Friday series featuring over 20 trucks dishing up the tastiest fare in St. Louis. While enjoying your meal,
kick back and relax as different local bands play live music. Costs vary.
Free Sounds of Summer Concert Series at Chesterfield Amphitheater (Sat. Aug. 12, doors open at
6 pm; 7:30 pm main event) — Enjoy an evening listening to the sounds of internationally acclaimed country
singer Ray Scott on his “Guitar for Sale World Tour.” Grab a fixed seat or bring a blanket/chair; there’s not a
bad seat in the house. Feel free to bring your own food and beverages (no glass, please). Free.
St. Louis FC Game at World Wide Technology Soccer Park in Fenton (Sun. Aug. 13, 7:30 pm game
time) — Come out and watch the St. Louis FC take on the Tampa Bay Rowdies. Go to: www.saintlouisfc.com.
Gymnastic Performance at Busch Stadium (Fri. Aug. 11, 4:30-6:30 pm) — All Olympiad & Team Central
summer students ages 3-1/2 and older will be able to jump, flip, tumble, and dance their way into a memorable
experience of a lifetime, a pre-game performance before the Cardinals take on the Atlanta Braves. Cost: $33.50
for each participant, which includes performer’s ticket in designated Olympiad/Team Central seating area, a spe-
