19.0 Procurement Specialist
 Maintain Knowledge of assigned Commodities and Suitable
 Manufacturers, Suppliers and Principle Distributors approved in overseas, and develop
close relationship with key suppliers’ personnel.
 Study Market trends and the Managers in developing and maintaining sources of supply
for the Project.
 Prepare or assist with preparation and issue of requests for quotation according to
contractual obligations
 Solicit Competitive tenders for goods, materials, services and equipment at the lowest
acceptable evaluated price for the specific quality and delivery
 Prepare the Commercial bid analysis
 Prepare purchase order/subcontract and order/contract Amendments and Expedite
approval
 Maintain supply statues knowledge and expedite progress on each package as allocated
relative to the schedule
 Assist the Project Finance function in resolving queries for payment of supplier invoices
and when required
 Understanding, adhering and applying project procedures
 Resolving claims and disputes with Suppliers/Subcontractors in a timely manner
 Establishing good co-ordination and team relationship with other disciplines.
