April Fool's Day is celebrated in many countries on April 1st by playing jokes and laughing. The tradition began in the 16th century when Pope Gregory XIII changed the calendar, moving New Year's Day from April 1st to January 1st. Now people celebrate by playing simple jokes on each other. Good jokes involve silence, discretion, having a funny joke prepared, and delivering it quickly. Some example YouTube videos about cars, police, and the history of April Fool's Day are also provided.
