Catherine introduces herself as a Stanford student in the class of 2014 who was originally pre-med but became interested in computer science after taking CS106A. She interned at Google as a software engineer and enjoyed it, so she is no longer pre-med. Her current goal after Stanford is to have a large role in creating a company like Google that focuses on improving health through technology. She is interested in the class because it will teach different skills than other classes and allow her to work with other students on projects.
