He sought medical treatment and was diagnosed with acute stress disorder and PTSD. He underwent psychotherapy and was placed off work until September 22, 2017. Respondent sent Petitioner for an IME, where the doctor found Petitioner had reached MMI and could return to work, but Petitioner's treating doctors disagreed. Petitioner was terminated before returning to work and later found employment with the VA. The arbitrator must determine if Petitioner's condition was causally related to the work incident and the benefits owed.
