Some 195 dunams (48 acres) of private Palestinian lands were trapped in the settlement (marked in red)
In 2002 a new neighborhood started to be built
In 2004 the gate was moved 720 m. to the West New Gate Old Gate
A new fence was  erected illegally  New Gate Old Gate
Another 460 dunams (114 acres) of private  Palestinian lands were trapped in the settlement
As a result, the access of the owners to their lands became limited, including the land that was visited by the activists and the owners on 30/9/11
