Alumni Hall, a store selling University of Alabama merchandise, has moved to a larger location in Midtown Village to accommodate increased demand from fans. The new store has more space and a wider selection of products. To celebrate the opening, Alumni Hall will hold events on August 23rd including giveaways and a drawing for a trip to see Alabama play Michigan. The new location allows Alumni Hall to carry more merchandise and provide a better shopping experience for their loyal customers.

Tuscaloosa, Ala. (August 20, 2012) ‐ After being open just five years in Tuscaloosa,
Alumni Hall has moved to a larger store location in the Midtown Village Shopping
Center. Alumni Hall has become a favorite place for Alabama fans to shop for officially
licensed gameday gear. To fulfill the demand of Crimson Tide fans, friends, alumni and
students, Alumni Hall felt the need to move. The new Alumni Hall location just opened
this morning and boasts more square footage, more products and a better shopping
experience for customers.
“The larger space means we can carry more great Alabama merchandise,” said Rachel
Dunn, Alumni Hall Store Manager. “More unique items like Alabama furniture and my
personal favorite, cute gameday dresses for ladies.”
“We are excited to be open before football season gets underway,” said Lindsey
Rohling, Alumni Hall Marketing Director. “We think customers are really going to like the
new place.”
Alumni Hall will celebrate the opening with several events and giveaways, the most
noteworthy being a trip to see Alabama play Michigan at Cowboys Stadium for the
season opener. The trip includes two tickets, a two‐night hotel stay, an Alumni Hall gift
card and cash. The Grand Opening events will take place Thursday, August 23rd
throughout the day.
