India ranks fourth in terms of primary aluminium production. China
continued to be the single largest aluminium producer, contributing more
than half of the total world production. To add, China is also one of the
major consumers of aluminium.

consumption of Aluminium.
As India has bountiful bauxite reserves and mining potential, there is a
constant rise in the production and mining of bauxite.
