Time Keeper
Time Keeper
A special thank you for this team in making
sure their time sheets are submitted and
  approved prior to Monday mornings.

Things to Remember:
• Your time must be logged everyday
• You must submit your time sheet by Friday
at the end of your day
• Supervisors approve time sheets Saturday
  mornings
• If you have issues in logging in or entering
your time you must report that to your
supervisor or Lisa Graeber immediately so
  the issue can be corrected.
Things to remember
cont.
• Need to make sure when entering your
time you select the correct element. Not
selecting the correct element can delay
your time being entered in the system or
cause you to not be paid correctly.
For example, if you are in training but enter
tech hours your hours will not upload to
payroll and then a corrected time sheet
  will have to be collected.
Very crucial on Mondays of pay week to
  get this right.
Paper Time Sheets
Paper time sheets are no longer allowed to be turned
in unless an issue with Time Keeper could not be
corrected in time of time sheet submittal.
Only light duty, and the first three days of training are
allowed to have paper time sheets.
When new hires are riding with OJTs they can enter
their time on the OJTs handheld or use a personal
  computer.
When new hires are in training the trainers are
instructed to assist in getting time logged in the
classroom or the new hire can use a personal
  computer at home.
Vacation Requests
Spreadsheet is sent out monthly and bi-monthly to the
site managers. This sheet shows what vacation
time has been taken, what time has been
scheduled and how much time is remaining.
If you schedule time, you need to make sure you are
entering that in Time Keeper correctly.
If you change your scheduled time you need to notify
your supervisor who in turn will notify Lisa Graeber.
No time is to be entered in Time Keeper unless there
is an approved time off request on file. Failure to
follow the process could lead to disciplinary action.
Currently there is a deadline for requesting holiday
time off. Make sure you get your request in
because it’s first come first serve.
Safety
Driver Alerts - Safety
As you know safety is the number once
  concern with Mastec.
Smoking in the vehicles – NO
Using cell phones or handhelds while driving
  - NO
Unsafe driving practices – NO

I have seen several techs either smoking in
the vehicles, talking on the phone while
driving, unsafe maneuvers on the road.
You never know who will see you out there
   so think before you act.
