2. FINAL CONCEPT
Documenting versus Participating
We are all busy. So when our roommates want their hair dyed, and we need to
complete an assignment, our minds relate the two. This project is an example.
Due to the nature of hair dyeing, I split my attention between dyeing Lynn’s
hair and operating the camera. I utilized a Gorilla tripod to hang the camera
from the shower rod, allowing easy access, but not ease of use.
These images represent the difficulty a photographer has when attempting to
document an event while also taking part in said event. It’s nigh impossible
with a point-and-shoot camera, the typical camera to be used in such occasions.
