checkpoint uses X-ray systems, explosives
trace detection, explosives detection systems,
electronic metal detection (EMD) systems,
canine searches, and physical searches to
ensure the safety of air cargo.
CARGO SCREENING
Non-passenger screening applies to airport
employees, airline staff, and contracted
workers accessing restricted areas of the
airport along with their personal items. This
includes flight and cabin crews, baggage
handlers, maintenance personnel, customer
service representatives, caterers, and more.
