prompts. Constructing prompts is known as “prompt
engineering”.
In Midjourney, prompts are natural language descriptions
that can range from simple to vague but must be under
2000 characters.

Img2img is one of the advanced features of Midjourney that
allows you to upload your own photos (or photos from the
Internet) and turn them into whatever you want. Two
commands to use the img2img:

There is no official structure to follow to create good
prompts. However, as a result of countless hours of
experiments, we have come up with a structure/ template
that gives better outcomes.
A prompt must have all or most of the following:
Noun: A subject, such as a person, an animal, a bird or an
object
Adjective: mesmerizing, magnificent, dazzling, hyper-
realistic, smoky effect, colorful, etc
Artist name: Add your favorite artist names. Check out this
list!

Styling jargon: pixel art, digital art, neon wave, fantasy,
surrealism, symmetry, contemporary, modern, minimalism,
and so on. Check out this mega list!
Quality: high-quality, 4k, fhd, ultra HD, and 8k, or add the
quality parameter “–quality 2”
Aspect ratio: --ar <value:value> can change the dimension
of the artwork
Art platform name: add keywords, such as “trending on
artstation, trending on Behance, Unreal Engine, Weta
Digital, Wētā FX, WLOP, etc” will result in the style pulled
from these platforms.

Midjourney multi prompt is a feature that allows you to
separate multiple items/ concepts in your prompts.
The process of separating multiple items in your prompts
will give you more control of certain words thus leading
to wonderful results.
To use multi prompts in Midjourney, you have to add a
double colon (::) in your prompts, without any spacing
between them.

concepts.
Both these concepts will take your multi prompting
results to next level.

Text Weights/ Prompt Weights
Prompt weighting and multi-prompts are interrelated concepts and are used to emphasize a part of your
prompt. Here you can note that dogs are twice the heat than before.

Prompting
Negative weights in a prompt are used to remove
unwanted objects or anomalies. It works the same as text
weight.
One rule you should keep in mind when using more than
one negative weight is that sum of all negative weights
must be a positive number.
The –-no parameter functions in the same way as
negative weight. I.e., --no red = red::-.5
