Agreement between the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway Coalition and the Friends of the Mohawk Towpath Byway

1. This agreement is between the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway Coalition, Inc.,
(Coalition) a 501(c)(3) not for profit corporation consisting of representatives of each of
the municipalities within the corridor of the Mohawk Towpath Byway corridor and the
Friends of the Mohawk Towpath Scenic Byway (Friends) a not for profit membership
organization incorporated in the State of New York.
It is agreed that:
1) Each organization will respect the other and its mission, and
2) Each will use the logo of the other organization in a way that will bring awareness
and credit for the Byway and the organization, and
3) The Coalition will encourage and foster membership in the Friends for anyone of
mutual interest, and
4) The Friends will support and encourage participation of the respective municipal
representative within the Coalition, and
5) The Coalition and the Friends will make every effort to ensure an environment that
encourages and fosters volunteer contributions of time, effort, and resources to
further the respective goals and objectives of both organizations, and
6) This agreement can be revised and updated as needed by mutual acceptance and
ratification by the respective cooperations at any of their regular business meetings.
