At age nine, Adam Kimmel became fascinated by films and asked his father for a super 8 camera for Christmas. Using the camera, Adam and his brother started making short narrative films, learning about lighting, editing, sound, and creating their own soundtracks. Inspired by movies he saw in theaters like The Exorcist and The Godfather at a young age, Adam developed a strong interest in filmmaking and how films were made.

2.  At age of nine, Adam Kimmel was much aware of the
cinematic images certain films left on his heart and
mind.
 He always wanted to know how they were made.
 He asked from his dad for a super 8 camera for Christmas
and his father picked one out for him.
 Adam along with his brother started off by making short
narrative films.
 They both came up with ideas, figured out the mechanics
of lighting, editing and sound.
 They even created soundtracks to the edited little films.

3.  Being television as the only choice to watch, Adam
watched all kinds of movies as a kid.
 There were so many films that caught his attention.
 He saw films like The Exorcist, the French Connection,
the Godfather, and Midnight Cowboy in theatre when
they were released.
 His mother was aware and never held his curiosity back.
 He was quite young when he started working films and
getting to see behind the curtains and watch how it all
happens.
