This document provides instructions on identifying complete subjects and predicates in sentences. It defines a complete subject as the part of the sentence that tells who or what the subject is, and the complete predicate as the part that states the action or condition of the subject. Examples are given and students are asked to draw lines between the complete subjects and predicates in sample sentences. They are also asked to write two original sentences and identify the parts.
