This document outlines guidelines for taking observational notes, including:
1) Notes should contain all identifying details of the observation such as date, time, location, and circumstances.
2) Subjective descriptions of individuals' character or personality should be avoided and replaced with factual descriptions of events.
3) Conversations should be transcribed verbatim.
4) The observer's opinions and deductions should be noted separately in the margins if possible.
The survey received 64 responses. It found that the target audience is predominantly female aged 12-17 years old. Most respondents eat meat but 11 are vegetarian. Popular desserts included cheesecake, chocolate cake, and ice cream. Respondents preferred bright, vibrant recipe cards. Filtering for this color preference increased the number who said appearance would influence meal choice. The research could be improved by targeting more vegetarians.

Aliens have invaded New York according to news reports. Five alien ships have defeated the army. People are being told to stay away from bridges. The radio drama caused widespread panic when originally broadcast in 1938, with over one million people believing the fictional account was real news. Even the army and police were misled by the realistic radio portrayal. The drama was so convincing that people fled their homes and cities in fear of the invading aliens.
