Ravens have lived at the Tower of London since the 1600s due to a belief that if the ravens leave, the kingdom and tower will fall. There must always be at least 6 ravens at the tower to adhere to this superstition. The ravens are well cared for at the tower - they have their own ravenmaster who provides food, shelter, and medical care for them.
