summer or autumn. The new liquid lawn fertiliser “VITAL

Applying fertiliser with the garden hose is a revolution in lawn culture.
“VITAL Summer & Autumn” from WOLF-Garten is a brand-new
product for the most important time of the year to add fertiliser – just
before the onset of winter. The product is user-friendly and easy to
apply. First, connect the garden hose, turn on the tap and set to “On”
– and ready to go! The fertiliser can be used until mid-October.
The lawn benefits from a special nutrient boost with potassium – the
“Vitamin C for vegetation”. This strengthens cell walls and, in
combination with nitrogen, makes plants more resilient to stress
conditions such as cold, heat, aridity or fungal infections (e.g. snow
mould or red thread lawn disease). The lawn survives winter in a
luscious green and healthy state. In spring, re-growth is quicker
because the roots have stored sufficient nutrients.
The easy application is impressive. The fertiliser comes in a dispenser
that can be directly connected to the garden hose, thus giving even
dosage by automatically dispensing with the jet-spray. Over-dosing

Additionally, there is no need for other accessories such as fertiliser
spreaders. The rapid and safe way to apply the product is also
appealing – 100 square metres of lawn can be covered in just three
minutes. No dust or grit lands on terraces or garden paths, as is the
case for granular lawn feed.
And the plants also gain, as the substances, which contain seven per
cent potassium and eight per cent nitrogen, are readily available for
the plant to absorb via leaf blades and roots. This is also a safer
method, ensuring that neither children nor animals collect granular
feed. The spray bottles are also sustainable and recyclable
dispensers designed for re-filling.
