The podcast will be an audio interview discussing YouTube drama. It aims to entertain 12 to 21 year olds, both genders and students, who are interested in YouTube videos. The podcast may contain some censored swearing. While not restricting younger listeners, parental permission is recommended for under 12s. The topic will focus on the interview and avoid offending groups. Copyright will not be an issue as long as the content remains sufficiently different from existing works.

My product is about all the drama on YouTube. I will be interviewing a YouTube employee about
the situations on the YouTube platform.
Audience:
Who is your audience? Be very detailed; age, gender, social status, psychographic etc
Why would your project appeal to this person?
My audience is aged between 12 and 21. This is because, this is the main age range for people
who watch youtube videos. My podcast is on youtube drama so if they are not interested in
watching the youtube videos, they will not be interested in hearing about the drama.
My podcast will be targeted and both genders (including LGBTI) this is because anyone is free to
watch the videos I am reporting on; both genders do watch the videos, so they are going to be
interested in my podcast. Also, I don’t want a specific gender to feel like they cannot listen to my
podcast because they are a specific gender.
The social status I am going to target is the first world people as they/we have technology and can
easily access they podcast.
The psychographic I am targeting is students as they have the freest time and they are the main
people who watch these youtube videos I am going to be reporting about.

There might be a bit of swearing in my podcast, but I will just censor it out with some SFX. There
won’t be anything else offensive in my podcast.
Will you restrict younger people using/accessing it?
I will not restrict it, however I they should get their parents permission if they are under 12. This is
because of censored words.
Will it offend any social groups/religions/ethnicities?
No, it won’t as I will not be mentioning any.
How will you ensure you do not offend anyone?
I will not mention anyone and stay to the topic.
Are you using characters/names/logos of existing products/IPs?
Yes, I am going to be talking about a couple of organisations and the owners, but not I will not be
doing anything that can be claimed for copyright.
Will your product be sufficiently different from existing products to not get sued for copyright
infringement?
Yes, I will just be asking someone about other people and that’s it.
