l Although it may be difficult to estimate prostate size
with precision by DRE, but DRE is still the first line
physical examination for the physician to approach
the prostate size.
l We should also take AUA score, TRUS, and clinical
symptoms in to consideration for evaluation of
prostate size
l In moderate and severe prostate enlargement
group, the prostate size estimated by DRE are more
accuracy than in mild group.
l In mild DRE finding group, DRE tend to
overestimate the prostate size.
