Four-team pool play will consist of 2 sets to 25 (starting at 4, win by 2, with 27 point cap).
Warm-ups will follow the full 18-minute protocol for each team’s first match of the day, after
which warm-up times will be 3-3. The first team listed will be the home team and needs to be
prepared to provide a line judge. We will have Branson JV/9 players will libero track and watch
lines when needed.
Bracket play should begin around 1:15 PM. Teams will be ranked 1-16 after pool play. Top 8
will go into Gold Bracket, bottom 8 to Silver Bracket. Rankings will be based on the criteria
below.
Ranking Criteria:
1. Win/loss record
2. Total point differential
3. Head to head point differential
4. Coin toss
Gold Bracket teams ranked 1-8, Silver bracket teams ranked 9-16. Games in bracket play will be
2 sets to 25 starting at 0-0. If a tie breaker is needed, it will be to 15, starting at 0-0.
Warm-up balls and water will be provided, and a hospitality room will be available for coaches,
officials, bus drivers, and administrators.
Your All-Tournament Team selections will need to be turned in BEFORE the beginning of the
championship match and will be announced at the conclusion of the tournament. You will be
given instructions for selections on the day of the tournament.
